Lavender Farm Wreath

I seriously have the coolest boss! I'm not just saying that because I am sucking up either. My boss, aside from her position at the hospital, runs her own lavender farm! It is so amazing and I want to spend every waking hour there but that would get weird for her I'm sure! Check it out at http://www.crlavender.com/ and seriously take a drive there one day. It is relaxing, you get free lavender lemonade and they have some amazing gifts for any occasion. It is officially Riley's dream job!

Anyways, she invited us out to the lavender farm a couple of weeks ago for a manager get together and taught us how to make lavender wreaths. They turned out amazing considering it wasn't as easy as it looks.

The deep purple was the lavender that I had expected to use but my little surprise was the really light purple/white lavender called "Melissa!" It was meant to use in my wreath so I just filtered it in throughout the dark purple to give it a bit of contrast. Don't I sound fancy?!

I would highly recommend everyone go check out this lovely farm and I can't wait for next year to do this again, hopefully I will get better each time I do it!
